This would be more fun if we actually had a PS3.
Sony Computer Entertainment in the USA has a Senior Director, Corporate Communications & Social Media, he's called Patrick Seybold. Patrick is talking tight inventory for PS3.
Like Jack Tretton before him Seybold has avoided saying "Shortages" or "We didn't plan too good" and has instead said, "We're working very hard with our retail partners to meet consumer interest, but the demand is tremendously high for the PS3 and we expect tight inventory in the coming months."
Rarity makes things so much more desirable... good inventory control is not as glamorous.
