Most Played Xbox Live Games - Be Shocked

Major Nelson - we've got to stop calling him that - has released two lists of Xbox Live's most played games of 2009. Apparently Halo 3 "owned" Modern Warfare (as did CoD 4 for that matter). Given the fact that Bungie's game was out before Infinity Ward's, and was platform exclusive, we're not making any sharp intakes of breath.

Look at the lists they are based on Unique User figures apparently. Strangely, the Major links to a Wikipedia entry on UU's and doesn't present Microsoft's own metrics.
