In case you had any doubts about whether EA will support Natal and Sony's PS3 motion controller, put you fears to rest. John Riccitiello, EA's CEO, said in his company's earnings call that, "we are really positive on both."
He went on to note that, "Our view is that motion-based gaming is something that is both going to drive installed base, drive interest, and drive growth. So we are positive overall and yes we are planning to support both, and we haven’t yet announced our plans to do so but we shall do so at the right time frame for that, which is likely to be early to mid 2010, so you are sort of jumping the gun on that."
Not long after Natal was announced, Riccitiello noted that he was
glad Microsoft is investing in Natal, because EA had thought about it but wasn't keen on shelling out the cash.
