A slow day over at
Marketwatch as apparently analysts are fretting that Activision Blizzard may be in problems... over the lack of
Starcraft II.
This is how an analyst who isn't Michael Pachter actually explains things. Here's Jess Lubert, a video game analyst at a company called Brean Murray.
"Even without
StarCraft I think Activision should be able to get to their current guidance for the year. But without
StarCraft getting an upside to that number might be challenging.
"I just think investors need that certainty of when it will ship, and it will remove this overhang."
For a start Jess, it's
Starcraft II. Secondly, what you've just said is, "With
Starcraft II Activison will make more money than without it." As for removing your overhang...
