Summary

The most popular game in the Rayman platforming series truly springs to life on the Nintendo 3DS! Having entertained gamers on the Dreamcast, PlayStation and N64 when it originally released, Ubisoft has taken this bright and luscious world and redrawn the graphics for owners of a brand spanking new 3DS. Thankfully, the gameplay hasn’t really aged all that much at all!

As Rayman, you must leap, hover and dash through a carnival of colourful levels, dodging environmental hazards and chucking projectiles at nefarious enemies. Along the way, you’ll need to break open cages that contain the limbless hero’s friends - collect them all for bonuses and special powers. And of course, everything is in eye-popping 3D as well.

It’s not a straight port though. With the Circle Pad offering much more precision in control and the difficulty curve being tweaked from the original game, this is a version of Rayman 2 that improves on the original. Take advantage of more immersive cameras as you climb, jump, swim, loop-the-loop and even water-ski around Rayman’s world.

Face Admiral Razorbeard and his crafty henchmen as they try to take away Rayman’s friends, along with their army of curious but nasty creatures. Luckily the Globox, Ly and the Polokus are all at hand to give him a hand.
