Summary

One of 2003's most intense virtual wartime offerings, GOD's Vietcong was both accomplished and controversial. It dropped players in the middle of one of mankind's most regrettable events, charging them with the completion of some 20 rigorous missions. Gamers were given the choice to compete as either friend or foe in a broad selection of levels that encouraged both stealth tactics and all out shoot-fests. And new for 2004 is the game's first official expansion pack - Fist Alpha.

With regards to content, Fist Alpha offers everything you might expect from an add-on to a first-person war game. It comes complete with six new weapons, which include the M60 Machine Gun, the Scorpion Machine Pistol and even Bayonets. Players will also see the appearance of several famous aircraft such as the B52 bomber and F4 Phantom. But most importantly, Fist Alpha plays host to seven new and extensive single player missions that effectively turn First Alpha into Vietcong 1.5 - it's almost its own game.

Catering for the online community, Fist Alpha also unleashes a further eight multi-player maps to keep multi-player gaming in the world of Vietcong fresh. As players of the original instalment will already know, Vietcong accommodates up to 64 players in multi-player skirmishes, and naturally, the same applies to the all-new Fist Alpha maps.

Vietcong was a great game at the time of its release, and accompanied by the Fist Alpha expansion, it's just so much better.
