Summary

Whereas most game licences are normally associated with films or TV, this latest futuristic action romp from Konami is actually based on a range of action figures by the name of 'Fighting Heroines'. And fighting heroines is exactly what's on offer here, with two sleek and (obviously) sexy leading ladies in a fight against evil and with more than a few skills and tricks up their collective sleeves.

The game's story chronicles the exploits of Ice and Aska, two different Cy Girl operatives with unique abilities, attributes, and pasts, on a mission to fight crime and put an end to cyber-terrorism. Ice is the brawnier of the two, well trained in handling long range combat weaponry, while Aska's skills as a ninja are better suited towards close quarter combat and stealth. Smart, sexy, and packing serious firepower, the women also have the ability to 'dive' into the Internet to download new fighting techniques to help bring criminals to justice.

The gameplay itself places quite an emphasis on both gun-fighting action and athletic acrobatics, with you taking control of either of the two spy divas and exploring the game's array of cyber-styled environments. Along the way, the obligatory weapon-wielding enemies are in abundance so it's always a good idea to get ducked behind walls and other objects, and pop out intermittently to take them out. Alternatively, you can always take advantage of the girls' gymnastic abilities and come out all guns blazing, before leaping, diving and rolling your way out of danger.

Throughout the game, the story takes you to a wide variety of international locales, from South America to the Far East, as you make your way through a series of objective-based missions. As well as this real world action, there's also the aforementioned cyber-universe to explore, which gives you the opportunity to uncover new clues and utilise new skills.
