Summary

Castrol Honda Superbike 2000 busts its way onto the PC. Imagine all of the excitement of real life superbike racing on your very own PC. Honda are one of the biggest motorbike manufacturers in the world and if anyone knows how to make a fast bike its Honda.

Castrol Honda Superbike 2000 has a customisable simulation style approach to racing. This is completely customisable; if you are a beginner you can opt for automatic gears and breaking. The speed that you enter the corners is regulated so you don’t go flying off the track. Knowing the correct entry speed and when to start turning is important to making a fast lap. When you commit the circuits to memory and learn the racing line you’ll soon be obtaining that elusive 1st place position. When you have mastered the bikes and tracks you can turn off the computer assists to see how good you really can be.

Graphically speaking, Castrol Honda Superbike 2000 is gorgeous to look at. You can set-up high-resolution graphics and increase the draw distance. The bikes themselves are very detailed and the animation of the riders is also well done. The best viewpoint has to be the first-person perspective where the track tilts as you lean into the corners.

Castrol Honda Superbike 2000 is easy to pick up and play. But you can also make it a much more challenging experience. The graphics and gameplay are both excellent and that makes this title a great game. Overall, recommended.
