Summary

The Sims 3 Seasons pack brings the ability for owners of The Sims 3 to actually interact with weather. As each season changes so the player can – in fact, must – see their sims changing their behaviours.

Sims can swim in the ocean on a hot summer day, bob for apples in the autumn leaves, test their snowboarding skills on the half pipe in the winter, and even play in the warm spring rain.

Lots of brand-new seasonal activities such as playing football or taking part in the festivals that fall on the last week of each season are available. These festivities are: Love Day, Spooky Day, Snowflake Day, and Leisure Day.

Love Day sees the Sims romancing in the kissing booth at the spring festival, for example, while the Spooky Day festival in autumn sees a visit to a new haunted house on the cards.

Fashions also change with the seasons, meaning that brand new ranges of clothing ranging from raincoats to snow gear become available with the passing of each period. Not only that but seasonal cuisine, décor and even realistic weather effects including Rain/Lightning, Sunny, Hail, Snow, and Fog all come into action.

As an additional note, players with The Sims 3 Supernatural installed get to benefit from the Weather Stone, which gives you four new weather effects, one for each supernatural: werewolf, vampire, witch/warlock, and fairy.
