Summary

It’s come down to this - Harry, Ron and Hermione must defeat the Horcruxes that remain before Harry faces Lord Voldemort for the last time. And he must defeat him.

Unlike Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, the sequel features the ability for players to Apparate – giving them the defensive capability to teleport out of a battle, and offensively to teleport back in at the right time.

During battle, adventuring and puzzle-solving, Primary and secondary spells – including all the favourites from the books – can be used via combination of controller methods.

The game is also not confined to the three main characters as the gamer also has the ability to control several characters including Neville Longbottom, Minerva McGonagall, Seamus Finnigan, Ginny Weasley and Molly Weasley.

All of this is played out in a third-person, over-the-shoulder perspective in a story mode that includes cutscenes uniquely designed for the game itself. Environments include breaking into the high security vaults of Gringotts Bank; escaping from Fiendfyre in the Room of Requirement. And then, of course, there is the final battle Voldemort and his most powerful allies as the player must defend Hogwarts itself in the epic final battle.
