Summary

The Fight (previously The Fight: Lights Out) is a bare-knuckles brawler that makes use of either two PlayStation Moves, or a single Move and a SixAxis or plain old fashioned PS3 controller to put the gamer right into the action.

Using the Playstation Eye camera to track the gamer's body motion, The Fight takes players from raw rookie to fully toned, fully trained, fully ready street fighting machine. You are lead through the game by Tarantino favourite Danny Trejo (who also appears in Fallout: New Vegas), filmed in a very Tarantino-like manner and responding to the players victories and successes with equal amounts of praise as derision.

Getting involved in the lengthy and brutal Campaign Mode requires real body action, as punches, feints and blocks are made standing up, gripping two controllers and actually exerting physical effort as the gamer attempts to get all their trained muscle power and toned speed through the one-to-one feedback offered by the PS3's technology.

In The Fight players need to learn combos, including punches, jabs, headlocks before really getting down and dirty with a range of brutal street-fighting techniques.

In between fights – and having earned sufficient credits by battling through to victory - the gamer can enter the gym for intense and targeted training only to emerge again for the next punishing bout.
