Summary
If you love dancing along with Hannah Montana or singing along with the Jonas Brothers, then Disney Sing It: Pop Hits is going to be a game you’ll really enjoy. The third game in the Disney karaoke game series includes 30 master recordings and music videos from fan favourites such as Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Colbie Caillat, Demi Lovato, Jesse McCartney, Coldplay and One Republic. It makes for a great mixture of Disney teen favourites and general chart-topping musicians that can help spice up any kid’s karaoke party.
Players will be able to sing solo, perform duets with a friend and also compete in a head-to-head mode. There’s a mode hosted by Disney Channel star Tiffany Thornton (from “Sonny With A Chance”) that teaches the audience how to sing, with a bunch of voice exercises that cover pitch, breathing, harmonizing and riffing. There are special rewards that unlock in Disney Sing It: Pop Hits when players perform expertly, so the helping hand can be a greatly appreciated one.
Other features include an ‘Encore’ mode that plays back performances with the added bonus of applying special effects; a “Run the Risk” mode that has singers gambling on who can out-sing one another, and a stack of unlockables that can be used to customize the Disney Sing It experience.
