Summary

Konami's survival adventure franchise has, at long last, made its way over to home consoles, sticking with Nintendo (as its DS precursors have) and leaping onto the Wii.

The premise behind Lost in Blue, if you're not familiar with it, is quite straightforward: survive on a desert island. It starts with tragedy – a fire on board a cruise ship sends all and sundry scrambling toward the lifeboats. You find yourself flung overboard and it promptly starts to look a little bleak. But hope is not lost! You find yourself washed ashore on a desert island and it's promptly time to turn your attention to survival.

Things kick off on a smaller island, where you learn the basics of looking after your character, foraging for food and clean water while making sure he gets enough sleep. Once you've got the basics down, you'll build a raft and make your way over to a nearby bigger island, where you'll discover Lucy.

You're no longer alone, and have a girl with you to boot! Together, you'll explore the island and stay alive. As you go, you'll gather pets. Don't overlook them, as they're important for Shipwrecked's mini games. Making use of intuitive controls, you'll engage in activities such as fishing, carpentry and fire-making. The mini-games are fleshed out with the opportunity for some co-operative play, too.

If you're in the mood for some sun, sea and sand, this is for you!
