Summary

Being lost on a desert island with mysteries abounding seems to be quite a popular pastime: think TV's Lost and the Mighty Boosh's Legend of Milky Joe...Anyhow, videogames-wise, carrying on the tradition of survival established in Lost in Blue is... well, it's called Lost in Blue 3.

The game centres around a young boy and girl who, after a disaster out at sea, wash up on a desert island. The pair set about the task of staying alive and exploring the island, but all is not as it seems. As you progress through the game, it seems that you are not so alone after all, and each character's mysterious past starts to unfold.

In this survival adventure game, players must balance the tasks of survival, such as collecting food, with the thrills and spills of exploring the island. There are more than 20 mini-games to play as you explore your new home, from rafting down rivers and communicating with dolphins.

Don't think you can do it alone, though! Where in Lost in Blue 2 gave the two characters the same skill sets, the third instalment in the series gives different characters different abilities. Boys, for example, are excellent hunters and gatherers - but they can't use a kitchen utensil to save their lives. Girls, meanwhile, are a dab hand in the kitchen. Of course!
