Summary

Hour of Victory is a first person World War II shooter that allows you to play three key roles in the cinematic European and North African battles.

You can choose between Major Ambrose Taggert, Lieutenant William Ross and Sergeant Calvin Blackbull. Taggert's an American OSS operative who specialises in the art of stealth, armed with nothing more than a survival knife and a silenced Sten MK 2. He can be used to great effect by leaping from the shadows and picking off unsuspecting Nazis one by one. Lieutenant William Ross is a British SAS commando who prefers the head-on, frontal assault. He can take double the damage of the other soldiers. Sergeant Calvin Blackbull (or 'The Bull') is a US Army Ranger, who specialises at sniping, with deadly accuracy. Blackbull is noticeably faster than other soldiers and can jump greater distances.

As you progress through the game, you will notice that on each level there isn't a fixed route to take: depending on your character you take can shortcuts or climb to vantage points. Every level has more than one way to completion, which means you don't have to re-do the level to find the one and only solution. As you fight your way through each level, you'll be bombarded from every angle by bombers, Panzers and Howitzers.

A great feature of the game is your ability to take control any vehicle you see fit. From Sherman tanks to Kubelwagons, if you see it, you can drive it. There is also a huge array of weaponry ranging from cattle prods to rocket launchers.
