Advanced Dungeons and Dragons: Baldur's Gate is a non-linear adventure that spreads across an enormous 10,000 scrolling environments. Each of the environments consists of hundreds of landmark buildings, such as castles, arenas and brothels, and boasts high levels of detail. When playing through this enormous adventure, you will acquire all kinds of magic and weapons that must be used wisely to make progress. Magic is expendable and weapons are not in abundance, so be careful.

Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn is much darker than its predecessor. You have been captured and imprisoned with some of your fellow adventurers. You must escape to Amn and travel to Athkatla to unravel the secrets of being the son of the God of Murder!

Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal is the final chapter of the Bhaal saga, where gamers must return to Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn and unravel the mysteries of a dangerous new dungeon - Watcher’s Keep. In addition, an exhilarating adventure unfolds when you explore new lands, battle fierce monsters and villains, and gain high-level abilities that bestow awesome powers.

Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast is an add-on pack. In a desperate rush to seek safety within the walls of Baldur's Gate, your hopes are dashed when you and your family are ambushed on the road by a group of thieves, who abduct your sister. You must find her before whatever terrible plots involving her unfold.

In Icewind Dale, you must battle your way through hordes of evil monstrosities and explore as if you were Sherlock Holmes. To do this, you must put together hundreds of locations, spells, weapons, characters, magic, monsters and legends.

In Icewind Dale II, the call has gone out across the Sword Coast. the Ten-Towns of Icewind Dale are paying handsomely for mercenaries, soldiers, and adventurers of all types to sail north and defend the town of Targos from the encroaching goblinoid hordes. An unknown power is attempting to force the Ten-Towns to bow to its will. You and your stalwart band of would-be heroes must find out who or what is behind this and stop them at all costs. The game features all-new character classes, such as the Barbarian, Monk and Sorcerer.

Heart of Winter is the official add on to Icewind Dale. All of your characters from the original game can be used in this update. It is now possible to take your characters past level 20. Be warned, your character alignment will affect what spells you can cast. You could lose the ability to use some spells because you decided to be evil. The enemies that you must fight in Heart of Winter are much trickier than in Icewind Dale. New to this version are five new areas of the map for you to explore. There is a new city and 100 brand new items and 59 new spells. The menu interface can also be toggled on or off to give you a better view of the action.

In Neverwinter Nights, a hideous evil has awoken in the Forgotten Realms. Now, in order to save the inhabitants of the town of Neverwinter, you must uncover a sinister conspiracy, unmask your mysterious betrayer and complete an epic struggle to defeat the powerful forces that look to halt your quest and unleash an evil your people would surely never survive.

Neverwinter Nights: The Hordes of the Underdark is an unusually large expansion pack. This new addition boasts an additional 20-30 hours of RPG gaming, but caters mostly for the advanced Neverwinter gamer, offering 'Epic' gameplay that allows for more powerful players and formidable foes such as devils, demons and dragons.

Neverwinter Nights: The Shadows of Undrentide is yet another expansion pack for Neverwinter Nights. In Shadows of Undrentide, players can begin their adventures in the small mountain town of Hilltop as a student under the tutelage of a mage named Drogan, before traversing the deadly Anauroch Desert in search of the ancient ruins of Netheril. Players must again uncover a fiendish plot whilst battling a multitude of new enemies through over 20 hours of original, new gameplay

Forgotten Realms Deluxe for the PC is a compilation that represents extremely good value for money. If you are a fan of those D&D larks and RPG games in general, you need never leave the house again with this lot.
