Summary

Expanding on the original GUN, which was released in 2005, players will be able to get their teeth into five new missions for the PSP version, entitled GUN: Showdown.

In GUN: Showdown, players assume the role of Colton White. Poor old Colton pays the price for living on the wild frontier when bandits kill his family and burn down his home. In a story written by Randall Jahnson (Mask of Zorro and The Doors) there will be many twists and turns on your quest to exact revenge on the outlaws who took everything that was dear to old Colton.

Colton's life will be made much easier with the help of various weapons, including six-shooters, shotguns, gatling guns, arrows, hatchets and explosives. The game is mission-based and there should be plenty to keep mobile gamers amused. Cattle rustlers, deputies and indians are just a few of the characters that will get buckshot in the behind if they cross Mr. White. There are numerous side missions that will help players master horse riding and gun slinging. If completed successfully, various new weapons and skills will unlock.

Players will be pleased to read that GUN: Showdown for PSP has a wealth of Quick-Play modes including Shotgun Games, Mission Challenge and even Texas Hold'em poker. It is also possible to team up or go head-to-head with a mate in Showdown mode, which includes Last Man Standing, Deathmatch and Golden Cross gameplay features via the PSP's WiFi network capabilities.
