Summary

If you thought Die Hard's John McClane always seemed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time or 24's Jack Bauer kept having days where nothing hardly ever went right, spare a moment for poor Raymond Bryce, "Disaster: Day of Crisis" protagonist.

When a rogue elite forces unit kidnaps his friend's sister, like any true videogame should, Bryce goes in pursuit. Not only have the terrorists taken the girl, but they've also snatch a nuclear weapon. To make matter triply worse, today is the day that an unprecedented chain of natural disasters pummels the United States.

Disaster: Day of Crisis is a panic inducing survival game where players guide Bryce through the disastrous events and and their aftermath. You name them - earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, volcanoes - and this game has got them.

The Wii's unique controls become your essential survival tools as you use them to outrun disasters, drive at break-neck speeds dodging volcanic boulders and pyroclastic flow, swim for your life in raging flood waters and dodge toppling buildings during devastating earthquakes.

Between scenes of almost certain extinction, help Bryce to rescue survivors clinging to crumbling ledge, resuscitate the injured, defuse bombs and face off again enemy henchmen and helicopters.

Suddenly, Bauer and McClane don't seem like such tough guys after all...
