Summary

Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows is the latest iteration of the legendary arcade classic Gauntlet series.

Seeking to undo the past, a powerful emperor is lost in his own dreams and nightmares. After being imprisoned by him for two centuries, four immortal heroes set out to undo their tormentor's lifetime of regrets. In the process, they must deal with the consequences of their own actions and watch as the world shakes apart around them.

You can select from six tragic heroes, each with their own detailed back-story, as you embark on the journey of fulfilling their destiny in this latest dark and powerful Gauntlet saga.

Seven Sorrows fuses the classic fantasy fighting action well known to Gauntlet fans with more strategy-orientated user-friendly RPG elements – which challenges gamers in solo play, in co-op play and playing amongst a thriving online community.

The RPG elements mean that gamers have the ability to strategically level-up their heroes with weapons, equipment and magic through the use of Weapon, Class and Iconic Skills.

The addictive co-op play, which is really a mainstay feature of the Gauntlet franchise, is both revitalised and also taken to a wider online arena. The online play also features a system of trade and barter, with the RPG and collection elements providing good replay value.

The intuitive hack-and-slash fighting system is more dynamic and more destructive than ever and offers deeper choices for advanced players. You can also band together with other players to use their skills and abilities to unleash a number of devastating attacks upon unsuspecting enemies.
