Summary

Frogger for PSP marks a return to your handheld screen of one of the most beloved video game icons of all time. The main new feature of this game is that it’s the first 3D handheld game for the Frogger franchise. Well, strictly its 2.5D, as it has 3D environments and 2D gameplay – a mix which is becoming very popular with handheld gamers.

The game is a platformer in which Frogger is called upon to stop an evil force that threatens his home, Firefly Swamp, and the nearby kingdom of Bunnington Hollow.

Your mission is simple - stop the insidious Dr. Wani and his destructive mining efforts, using all of Frogger’s hopping and dodging skills, along with his many new talents, to play your way through the 30 levels to finally infiltrate the mastermind's lair and bring his evil plans crashing down.

The game is based on the classic, unbeatable 'hop and dodge' gameplay that Frogger fans of old will know and love. There is also a multiplayer option, whereby you can play a load of mini-games with up to four players.

Helmet Chaos also features dozens of unlockable items and new playable characters, including Lumpy, a friendly and carefree toad, and Berry, a fourteen year-old Amazon frog who performs as an acrobat in a travelling caravan.

Each of the playable characters has their own unique gameplay and features. In addition, players can perform new moves such as vertical jump, swing and stomp, climb walls, double jump, tongue grab and more which adds loads more depth to the classic Frogger gameplay.

There is also a special unlockable bonus for true retro fans – the original 1981 Frogger arcade game. Ribbit!
