Summary

Disney’s Peter Pan, absent from the big screen and TV for quite a while now, is flying onto the old generation PlayStation in return to Neverland.

Peter Pan’s arch-enemy, Captain Hook, is still on his futile quest for revenge and treasure and has set out to destroy Peter and get hold of Neverland’s trove of goodies.

Neverland is your playground, and you must set out to locate the hidden pieces of the lost treasure map of Skull Cove and beat Hook to the treasure, whilst avoiding his minions in a deadly adventure. Your journey will see you travelling to many locations that include Crocodile Creek, Mermaid Lagoon, the Indian Village, and even Captain Hook’s own ship, the Jolly Roger.

Considering the PlayStation was launched in 1994, the side-on scrolling visuals are quite lovely, if a little outdated. Smooth animation and some lovely magical effects all help to make this fantasy world a little more believable.

Your adventure will see you adopting many different gameplay styles as you learn to solve puzzles and tackle hazardous enemies and bosses.

Adventures in Neverland is a great game in itself that authentically recreates one of Disney’s most magical environments.
