Summary

Half-Life Generation 3 comprises of four award-winning titles from the HL series: Game of the Year Edition, Opposing Force, Counter Strike and Blue Shift, all bundled into one box, bursting with alien baddies.

Half-Life follows the adventures of unlikely hero Gordon Freeman. An employee of M.I.T's top secret weapons research department, Freeman finds himself caught up in the middle of an alien invasion. Grabbing whatever weapons come to hand, Half-Life is still the stunning first-person shooter title folks got so excited about a few years back, wherein the player guides Gordon as he picks his way through his shattered office and eventually takes the fight to the alien invaders, uncovering a worrying conspiracy in the process...

Featuring a wealth of high-tech weaponry, Half-Life and its expansions and add-ons are rightly considered to be the ultimate first-person shooter. All-new AI ensures the aliens react in believable ways, i.e. they’re bent on taking out our bespectacled hero at any cost. Freeman is not exactly under-powered as far as weaponry is concerned, especially in the Opposing Force and Blue Shift chapters of the story. Extras include high-tech weapons upgrades, more characters, and access to parts of Freeman’s place of work that even he didn’t get to investigate first time around.

Spread across four packed discs, this Half-Life experience challenges you to cope with not only the alien threat, but also a rampaging military death squad and panicking co-workers. Not just another day at the office for Gordon Freeman, then!
