Summary

Although Lego’s infamous coloured bricks have entertainment children for many years, the young population is now more interested in computers and the likes. Keeping up with the times, Lego’s media division has produced many Lego-based games for entertainment platforms and home computers. Continuing the trend, Lego Media has now released a sequel to the popular Lego Island, shockingly titled Lego Island 2.

In this episode, The Brickster has escaped prison and has stolen the almighty Constructopedia. Planning to destroy Lego Island piece by piece, The Brickster has unleashed his evil Bots, causing havoc across the land. Assuming the role of Pepper, you are the only person capable of putting him back where he belongs.

Lego Island 2 takes place across several classic locations, such as the Castle and Lego City. Environments are vast and are now rendered in full 3D glory, even if they do look a little blocky. There are 18 levels available to play in total, in which you will have the opportunity to explore the island in some amazing ways. Space shuttles and pterodactyls are just a few of the available modes of transport. Game missions include deep-sea diving for bricks, jousting with the Dark Knight and parachuting. As you progress, you’ll encounter and interact with as many as 56 classic Lego figurines.

Ardent fans of the Lego phenomenon will feel at home with Lego Island 2, and even new players will be intrigued by the goings on at Lego Island.
