Summary

Disney’s involvement within the video games industry is becoming more and more prominent by the day. With a plethora of titles already released and on the way, Disney Interactive’s development studios are earning themselves an improving reputation across all console and computer platforms. Next in the line up of Disney’s animated series is Winnie the Pooh, but more specifically, and to tie in with the big screen incarnation, Tigger’s Honey Hunt for PlayStation.

Taking on the form of a linear 3D platform game akin to Crash Bandicoot and Pandemonium, you will control Tigger (who just will not keep still, by the way) and take him across several Pooh-themed landscapes. As a platform game, there are inevitably a number devious cliff edges and obstacles that will get in the way of your progress. You should also watch out for the likes of bees, bats and other health-damaging creatures that lurk amongst the many levels you will come across. As you travel through the adventure you will encounter each of the classic TV series’ characters, including Pooh himself, Eeyore and Christopher Robin. This version doesn’t have the visual prowess of its PC counterpart, but plays exactly the same regardless.

One for the kids, this one, yet it is strangely challenging enough to give any player a run for their money.
