The Dreamcast has been somewhat undernourished when it comes to football games. The lack of International Superstar Soccer and FIFA has been a major negative point for Sega’s console. Virtua Striker is a beautiful game but lacks depth and UEFA Dream Soccer has left many fans feeling empty. European Super League is like a breath of fresh air in London.

Pick from 16 top class European teams like Juventus and Barcelona with all of the real players and names. All players have been accurately replicated down to their look and playing style. Additionally, the stadiums look just like their real-life counterparts and are well modelled.

You can choose to play either an arcade or simulation style of game. Players should be able to pick what style of gameplay they like and European Super League accommodates that selection process. Arcade mode is a more extravagant game of football and has more emphasis on fun.

What makes European Super League a great football game is the complete control that you have over the ball. Initially, it takes time to learn the controls and get used to the gameplay, but when you master through balls to swerving banana shots that curl around the keeper this title comes into its own.
