Summary
Dragon's Lair is famous for claiming to be the first interactive move, when in fact it was one of the least interactive pieces of computer entertainment released at the time. It used spooled graphics from laser disc to create a very lavish and beautiful example of style over content. None of this stopped it being a huge hit in the arcades as people pumped in their quarters just to get a look at Don Bluth's sumptious graphics.
With Dragon’s Lair 3D™, Blue Byte believe they can give Dragon's Lair the vital missing ingredient... playability. In the 3D version, the gamer will have full control over the actions of very lovable "Dirk the Daring". Dirk will be on a valiant quest to rescue the fair princess "Daphne" from the clutches of evil and fiery Dragon, Singe! To triumph, you must fight your way through the castle of the dark wizard, and overcome monsters and obstacles that have been set throughout the castle just to make your pressing task that much more challenging!
