Formed in 1992 and incorporated in 1995 Bubball Systems started out by doing conversions for Team17, such as SuperFrog for the PC. This led to the company forming a close relationship with Team17 where the work grew from conversions to providing additional development resource and trouble-shooting. Bubball were involved in the solving of some problems in the development of the original Team17 smash, Worms.
In 1998 Bubball joined forces with Infogrames to work on an ambitious football management game: UEFA Manager 2000. Launched as a pan-European game in spring 2000, the game reached No 1 in France. Bubball had breathed new life into what was becoming a dull and uninspiring genre.
Bubball had always intended to bring this title to the online gamers. Bubball picked up this basic game idea in 1999 and decided to create a stand-alone football management game to be played over the Internet which, while being strong on football, would be more inclusive and appeal to people with only a passing interest in the sport as well as solid fans of the game.
In 2000, Bubball teamed up with SCi to develop the brand The Peoples Game, which is to be used across the online game and their boxed-management title.
Bubball Systems's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1997 title, "Profits Warning" (PC).
The company has been involved titles released on the PC.
The company's most recent involvement was on the 2002 release "Four Four Two" (PC).
