What's A Halo 3 Meta-Game?

You can say it all you want, cause it's still a bullsh*t comment, Quake is fcuking boring (well the 1 on the 360) just a bulk standard corridor shooter (yawn), it doesn't even touch the quality or the action & fighting system of Halo. And as for the online!..well i dont even need to comment. Quake is bland, & very old school (i'm not commenting on quake wars) Cant wait 4 Halo 3, bring it on, I just hope that bungie really pull out all the stops & silence all the people who love to knock Halo just because they think its somehow "cool" to do so...

Great list, however its usually nice to link to the actual source where you found the news. Unless you had the xbox.com page for the information - I find that very doubtful.

Owh come on, Quake, Unreal tournament and team-fortress games are for real guys who can actually handle dozens of explosions going off per second while traversing entire levels in 10 seconds. Halo is for guys who think they can handle the rough stuff but cling on to their noobed shield regen systems and unbalanced weapons (sniper pistol, woot!) and walking speeds that would make my criple grandmother look like a olympic sprinter.

oh gmmie a break, sniper pistol? They dropped that in 2. As for your superiority complex...I just find a slower paced game more realistic and engaging than a fast paced frag circus.

How do you play the meta games :S?

In the Campagne lobby you have the option to enable points for your missions. I think you need around 15,000 points for each mission.
