For the love of god, this sony bashing is becoming so tiresome. Change the flippin record. Konami can some PS3 & Wii games and instantly it's Sony's fault. Are you a moron? I find this old "huge" development cost a myth most of the time. Yes sure a game like MGS4 will be expensive with its fancy graphic details/models/physics etc, but a game like Gradius wouldn't cost anymore to develop on PS3 than 360 or even PS2 etc

Are you a t**t? At what point has anyone "bashed Sony"? Or is it simply your a Sony "fannie" and cannot possibly read posts without spewing?
Actually making a gradius game on the PS3 or Xbox360 would be vastly more expensive then for the PS2 because Sony and Microsoft demand that all the consolegames on their next-gen consoles have to have HD.
Which means you need to design HD-textures and models and do a lot of rescaling. That takes time and by that money. Very simple process. Why do you think the DS gets all those spin-offs of Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy? To finance the development of FFXIII, FFXIII Versus and FFXIII FanboyMilking
And Konami should indeed make more DS-games, come on Gradius DS!! Nanostray 2 is too far away to my liking!
And lets not forget Namco Bandai stating they need to sell 500k PS3 games to break even. I'm guessing development costs for titles like MGS4 will be more than average...

I honestly doubt this! Using highly detailed textures doesn't seem to effect the development of PC games.
Not at all, merely speculating with the details to hand.
OH REAAALLLYYY!. Why did you feel the need to speculate on a story that mentioned canning games for PS3 & Wii. Perhaps they were having trouble adding some "novel" control method to the games then got fed up.
Indeed it is. So your gut reaction to hearing this terrible news was that it's got to be down to Sony and there incredible development costs forcing poor little Konami to can some Wii games?
