One day, a movie based on videogame IP might actually be good. We know - it’s unlikely, but we can all hope; hope for better, happier days. Perhaps the freshly-announced Max Payne movie will be the answer…
Hepped up on Valkyr, executives at 20th Century Fox have signed the 3D Realms/Remedy title for a full cinematic release, expected at some point during next year.
Co-producer Scott Faye says, "I think this is a real actor's part because although the story will have action and intrigue, at its core it's a story about a man who loses everything in life that's dear to him. Of course, SPOnG is still eagerly awaiting the
Crazy Taxi movie though we guess that considering a game/movie tie-in we don’t really care about will fill the void for now.
