We’ve been spoiled by Ourcolony, Microsoft’s viral marketing site for its next-generation Xbox console. We were used to seeing renders from Project Gotham, snippets of the hardware and even a controller.
So today’s offering comes as something of a blow – it’s an image, of this there is no doubt. You can tell that from its JPG extension. But an image of what?
Some are speculating that this is a glimpse of the boot sequence of the Xbox 360, others assert that it’s just a piece of art, perhaps taken from the upcoming MTV premier of the machine, details of which can be found here.
Whatever it is, as the pre-E3 news blackout grows ever darker, we’re happy to run it on this, a rather slow news day.

It may just be the new logo... but since it looks to be a snapshot of something moving the boot up screen sounds very logical indeed. The Sphere behind it shows that the 360 moniker they are going with is going to stick.
Anyway I could give less of a s**t... I'm still gonna call it Xenon.

Well thinking more simply about the picture and relating it to the ourcoloney game, I can see a large letter t. Perhaps there is more than one reason that shot is on there.

Flip it clock wise you get a Y. Other than that, there is no telling where that shot comes into play. Just funny how the light happens to hit and make letters we are all waiting to see.

However I think it would be pretty funny if the name, look, and design were completely different from what we've seen on the net. That would be f**king hilarious... cuz right now the console is no longer the exciting thing... its all about the games now that the cat is pretty much out of the bag.

IT MAKES SENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The new pic posted by ourcolony.net shows the power button sideways with different casings around the button. Why is the button sideways? Well thats how it is on the Xbox pic that everyone is saying is the legitimate pic. This seems to confirm that the xbox pic we have all seen is legit and that it will have different casings! Maybe I'm wrong but seems like it to me!
