Sucker Punch Reveals New PS2 Title, Sly Raccoon 3 A Possibility?

Sucker Punch, creator of the light-fingered raccoon: Sly Cooper, has revealed via a job advertisement on its website that it's commencing work on a new PS2 project. Obviously there are few solid details at this early stage of the production process, bar the fact that this will be a "character-based action-adventure game".

One of the necessary attributes to apply for these roles is to be a "funky individual". That makes it quite likely that Sucker Punch is planning some kind of “funky” game. A sensible guess would be that this new title is another episode in the PS2-exclusive Sly series. Sly Raccoon was fairly well received, but didn’t sell as well as perhaps it could have done. Sly 2: Band Of Thieves, due for release at the end of October, is also shaping up rather nicely: with noticeable improvements over the original. Sly 3 would thusly be a reasonably tempting prospect.
