Fable Confirmed for September 14 With Pre-order Bonus Bundle

Having previously been given a US release date of September 21, Microsoft has confirmed today that the launch of Fable will in fact be a week earlier. Although the anticipation for Fable is rapidly escalating on a daily basis, and is likely to sell well as a rare Xbox-only RPG, Microsoft has opted for a pre-order promotion to strengthen early sales.

Those who place pre-orders stateside will receive a bonus “Making of...” DVD, containing interviews and demos for forthcoming Xbox games such as Forza Motorsport and Conker: Live and Reloaded. There has been no mention of any plan to bundle this extra with the European release, nor the Japanese release in early 2005. We’ll let you know if the situation changes.
