Gabe Newell made the surprising revelation during the Half-Life 2 presentation that the Source engine would also be breathing new life into some older favourites. Half-Life, Counter-Strike, the Team Fortress mod and HL add-ons Opposing Force and Blue Shift will all be enjoying this saucy makeover. These re-workings will be official retail releases, and should be made available around the time of the Half-Life 2 launch.
