According to information released by Take 2 Interactive, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will miss this year's E3, with Rockstar deciding to show the game to retail and trade press in June.

If this is the case, then arguably the biggest game - at least in terms of mainstream profile - will miss the biggest event of the year, in news that comes as a massive surprise to the entire industry.

We have contacted Rockstar, and they cannot comment on their E3 plans at this point. We'll keep an eye out and bring you updates in the coming weeks.

I hope GTA:SA hasn't got a s**tty gangster rap theme. THe news 50 cent is in with it isn't good.

Rockstar if you're reading - I want the Russian Mafia, hitmen and carbombs.

I agree comepltely, i heard this news on another games website 2 days ago.
Its not to be a suprise as, Rockstar never want to give much away anyway, they will give info on the game about a month before its release methinks.

Another Spong story from the time zone of weirdness. Two days old news, have you been on holiday or something? I have to agree with Deviluck on this. Rockstar are unusally cagey with new games, check that Manhunt website out.It still doesnt give anyhting away now, probably because its a crappy game, something San Andreas will not be for sure

But that's part of how games news works isn't it. A company "gives" news exlcusively to one site or publisher, in return for a good preview or a good review score.

And the news spreads from there.

Don't trust reviews, the scores are bought with advertising.

How convenient. There was a link to it right at the top of this very page.

It's an "Interesting" site... basically no information and a weird as you like interface...but it made me interested in the game!
