Zelda Four Swords Plus Gets Single-Player Mode
According to gossip stemming from Nintendo Europe, Legend of Zelda: The Four Swords Plus will be playable in single player mode, in what is a dramatic climb-down from the aggressive multiplayer GBA connectivity stance the game was unveiled with back at E3 2003.

The mode will enable the player to take control of between one and four of the Links on the screen and position them according to how best to advance through the game. Certain required multiplayer moves will be completed by the CPU, though the extent of any computer-controlled involvement is something of a mystery.

A Nintendo spokesperson told us, “This kind of thing is not to be released now as the game is someway away. We’ll explain everything about Four Swords Plus nearer the time of release.” Be assured that we'll update you as soon as that happens.
