Battle Over Europe
We're fighting for Europe with Just Flight's new mission and campaign expansion for IL*2 Forgotten Battles.
The action in Forgotten Battles is moving to the West. While the war rages in the East the Allies are attacking Germany's heartland. Round-the-clock bombing and the D-Day invasion means that the second front is now in action. The Luftwaffe is defending Germany with everything they've got, and now you can take part in twelve campaigns (six USAAF, six Luftwaffe) that chart the progress of this bitter battle form June 1944 to May 1945.
Created with help from the original IL*2 Forgotten Battles developers, this independent expansion from Just Flight is oozing authenticity. Just Flight's attention to detail has been partnered with Russian Rocket Games to give IL*2 fans the best expansion yet.

Key Features
- Includes updated campaign engine and greatly enhanced mission briefings all written by the original developers of Forgotten Battles. Every new mission generated is based on 61 mission types and there are thousands of potential targets for each of the 12 campaigns – there are potentially over three million unique missions!
- The new Online Dynamic Campaign feature means you can fly dynamic campaigns online with other players, where results of each mission will directly influence the situation in the next.
- As well as dozens of new ground objects there are a total of 93 new skins for 20 aircraft types and missions utilise many of the new AI aircraft in Forgotten Battles, including the B-17G and P-51D.
- Enlist in dozens of historical squadrons and choose between several historical planes for each campaign, with distinct missions for each campaign/plane combination.
