Tiger Telematics has revealed the latest, almost certainly doomed handheld console to be dragged over the hot coals in front of a mocking Nintendo.
Carrying the rubbish name Gametrac, the device includes a digital camera and GPS tracking functionality, a concept we exclusively revealed some months ago was in development for Game Boy Advance.
Make no mistake, the ‘Trac is well kitted out, with MP3 and MPEG4 playback and full mobile phone compatibility, complete with multiplayer Bluetooth multiplayer gaming.
It has a 2.8-inch screen and is wonderfully designed. At present, the only game revealed is reliable old Tomb Raider, seemingly made available for every device that gets a release. Oh, and the Gametrac uses Windows CE too.
We are expecting to talk to Tiger Telematics in the next few days, about the launch line-up and pricing, so stay tuned.
