WW2 Online to right its wrongs?
World War 2 Online was released two years ago to critical apathy and unremarkable sales. Players complained that the game was badly produced and generally rather poor. But rather than copping it on the chin and putting the game behind them, Playnet are determined to prove the game’s worth.

For starters, they are offering a free seven day trial to new players and a re-evaluation trial for those that rejected the game first time around. This move alone would have little effect, except that the latest patches for WW2 Online have apparently ironed out all the game’s imperfections. Even if they haven’t, a freebie’s always worth a quick glimpse.

The basic framework for the patch updates and improvements is outlined below:

Depot spawning: to make battlefield action more frenetic
New strategic elements: injecting RPG style gameplay
New graphics and animations
Over 40 new cities to fight over
