Change of plans for Phantom

Virtual unveiling on the cards

Posted by Staff
Any doubts surrounding the existence of the elusive Phantom console are set to be put to rest, as manufacturer Infinium Labs has today announced new launch plans for the machine.

Following the recent postponement of the Ultimate Games Expo, Infinium has decided to instead launch online on August 17, where all will be revealed about the Internet-based, next-gen phenomenon.

Speaking about the decision, Infinium's CEO, Timothy Roberts, said: "Due to the sudden postponement of the Ultimate Gamers Expo, Infinium Labs will unveil the Phantom game console online at midnight on Sunday, August 17, at phantom.net and infiniumlabs.com. We also will explore the opportunity to exhibit the Phantom game console at COMDEX, the global technology marketplace trade show that takes place November 17-20, 2003, in Las Vegas."

We'll fill you in on all things Phantom related when we get hold of the machine, which we intend to beg, borrow or steal very soon.
