One of the stranger games to emerge from Japan a couple of years ago was Mr Mosquito, a game in which the player controlled a parasitic insect and was charged with sucking blood from humans without being swatted.
Somewhat surprisingly, this genre has been given a fresh burst of life, with Mr Mosquito getting a sequel, tentatively titled Mr Mosquito 2 - Hawaii Vacation.
This time around, play will centre upon aiding the downtrodden family with various ailments they may have. By biting them on pressure points outlined at the beginning of each level, this mosquito cures headaches, instead of leaving the usual itch spot, that feels so good to scratch, which just makes it worse…
The humans you encounter will not be so understanding of your noble cause however, and fearing the itchy spot, will make their best efforts to splat you.
It’s set in Hawaii, there’s all-new multiplayer options and it’ll freak your parents out. As soon as a western release is confirmed, we’ll let you know.
