Because nothing tangible exists in any form relating to Sony's somewhat pie-in-the-sky PlayStation 3 project, videogames analysts around the world are rubbing themselves into a frenzy, trying to second guess each other as to when it will emerge.
The latest (and possibly worst) guess comes from NewsEdge Corporation, who reckon that the complexity of making the magical Cell processor will push the release of PS3 back to 2007.
As you may be aware, all manner of claimlets and mutterings have been made by SCE as to what will make up the fabled PlayStation 3, from this Cell processor gobbledygook to a processor-free machine, which taps power from some mystical centralised supercomputer brain.
We, however, can exclusively reveal that the PlayStation 3 will be some kind of computer device, in a box, released in about two years or so.
