Shock horror! Capcom announces Onimusha sequel.
Capcom, never shy of squeezing the most out of its intellectual property, has announced Onimusha 3 and Onimusha Buraiden, the third and fourth instalments of the popular hack ‘n’ slash feudal romp ‘em up, both for PlayStation 2.
Onimusha 3 looks set to be more of the same, not a bad thing, complete with pre-rendered splendiferous backdrops and all. However, Buraden, from what we can tell, is a dedicated multiplayer fighting game in 3D.
In the meantime, screens from both games are viewable at capcom.co.jp/onimusha, and we’ll bring you more game content information as we get it.
