Nintendo Europe has finally broken its online silence, revealing full plans for a GameCube Internet roll-out for the continent. As has been the story throughout the world, Sega has forced Nintendo’s hand, demanding that its classic RPG Phantasy Star Online receives the full online treatment.

This being the case, Nintendo plans to release a broadband adapter and an analogue modem adapter on March 7, the same day as PSO hits the shelves.

Again, the full picture was not painted, with the details of connectivity and charges remaining undisclosed. David Gosen, MD of Nintendo Europe, said that the company will be making further announcements nearer the time.
