Those of you eager to get stuck into Midway’s next-gen PS2 update of Defender will be bitterly disappointed today, its intended day of release, as it has been revealed today that the game will not see a 2002 release.
Speaking today for the first time on the matter, Midway stated that a new date, March 15 has been put in place for the PlayStation 2, GameCube and Xbox versions of the game.
Previously, the GC and Xbox releases were set at February 14 2003.
