Blizzard's Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft Open Beta is GO
North America gets first dibs
Blizzard has kicked off the open beta for its Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft in North America.
If you're in that region, you can get at the beta right now by going over here.
For those of us not on that side of the Atlantic, Blizzard says we won't have long to wait: "What if you don’t play in the North American region? Don’t worry; we plan to go to Open Beta in all our other regions within the next few days, so stay tuned for more information!"
Hearthstone was announced last March and entered closed beta last August. It's a strategy-based card-game that... yes, uses the Warcraft universe as its basis.
