Many, many years ago (a few), in a land far, far away (USA), Sony launched a beta program which rewarded Playstation gamers for using its products. Yesterday, they announced that a similar, but more sustainable version of that beta is live.To cut a long story short, the new scheme rewards consumers with points whenever they purchase Sony products. These points can then be redeemed for other Sony products.
These products range from cameras to games, tablets to phones. The only stipulation, is that you must redeem your points either on the PlayStation store Sony Online Entertainment, which can be reached via PC or PlayStation consoles, or "authorized retailers," such as the official Sony Store, Walmart, Gamestop, Target, and Best Buy.
How many points will I get per dollar, you ask? Well, that's simple. You'll get one point per dollar, and each point is worth around one cent. As you could've probably guessed, large AAA titles will cost you... 5999 points - do the math!
That seems pretty minimal, doesn't it? Well, when you consider that you'll all be going out and purchasing PS4s, games and perhaps peripherals, you may well earn yourself a free game.
By now, all you want is this link, so go now!
