This info comes from a source that has early access to
GTA Online, and they may well change prior to release via
Eurogamer.
Now, as any of you with basic mathematical skills can work out (and much like real life), buying in bulk earns you a discount - you'll get more in game cash for your real life cash when you buy more at once.
When purchasing certain items in
GTA Online, you'll pay much less than you would in the story mode - A car that would cost $1m in the story will be more like $150k in
GTA Online, and the most expensive property you can buy online costs $400k.
Now, just because vehicles and properties are cheaper, that doesn't necessarily mean that other purchases are - in fact, vehicle and weapon mods are much more expensive, and until your rank increases, you'll have limited choice when it comes to your investments.
