Sony, in a short, pithy statement has confirmed that the PS4 will only be able to cope with running four controllers at one time.
Let's first look at the fact the Xbox One will let you and seven other people sit on a huge, enormous sofa and each have your own controller at the same time... for some reason... even though it's also got Kinect. And we also think this could be a huge problem for anybody wanting to develop SingStar Symphony Orchestra.
Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida has told the world that four of your mates will have to suck their thumbs when it comes to the PS4. He was asked, "how many controllers can be connected to the ps4? Will it be 7 again?"
His response on Twitter was... "4"
