Gambling with Lives: Senator McCain Caught Playing Video Game During Syria Debate
Major Republican Senator turns away from debate and into play... during the debate!
Arizona Republican Senator and former presidential candidate John McCain has been caught playing a video game on his iPhone during the crucial debate as to whether to USA goes to war in Syria.
McCain, a key player on the Republican side and a longtime advocate of war with Syria before apparently changing horses midstream was snapped playing the game by the Washington Post before taking to Twitter to try and face his astonishingly unfocused action off. He stated:
"Scandal! Caught playing iPhone game at 3+ hour Senate hearing - worst of all I lost!" he tried to joke as the debate raged about the lives of service people and civilians.
The Washington Post caption is telling as hell:

The game being played? Poker of course.
We're going to be fascinating to see how McCain votes on the next anti-gaming bill because surely video games can't make people lose focus or become more likely to, in this case, gamble dangerously?
